Cromartie has an ACC Championship in Track.
He might have been a top five pick in the 2007 draft should he have stayed in school. However, family financial circumstances have forced Cromartie to enter the draft early. Originally pegged as a 4th-5th Rounder by the NFL Advisory Panel, he has risen substantially up the charts after his knee has checked out as okay.
Realistically, Cromartie might fall late in the first round. He could also present incredible value in the middle of the second round should he slip. He is the most intriguing player in the draft class since he could be chosen in so many spots.
In February, he clocked a 4.29 on FSU grass in the 40-yard dash. At the combine he managed a 4.41.
